Walk

Bower Ashton campus is a 30 min walk from the city centre. If you're looking for a real workout, the walk from Bower to Frenchay is about 2 hours and a half. From Glenside it is about 2 hours. You can use the address City campus at Bower Ashton, Kennel Lodge Road, Bristol, BS3 2 JT in google maps to plan your route.

As a result of a diversion and works on the roads until January '25, the usual footpath suggested by Google Maps across Brunel Way that leads to A369 is closed. It is suggested that you walk along the Ashton Avenue Bridge towards A370 and then onto A369 and proceed up to Kennel Lodge Way. Below is a diversion map that illustrates this.

Bus

Get the X4, X1, X6, X7 or X9 which stops near the campus. Follow this link for more information. https://www.firstbus.co.uk/bristol-bath-and-west/routes-and-maps/universities/uwe
