Why should you be on the committee?

• It looks great on your CV.
• You will meet new people.
• You can improve or change things within your club/society.
• You will have opportunities to organise and attend first aid training, minibus training and various other forms of training. PLEASE LINK FIRST AID TRAINING TO THE FIRST AID GRANDCHILD PAGE AND MINIBUS TRAINING TO THE DRIVER TRAINING GRANDCHILD PAGE.  
• You'll have access to The Students' Union at UWE Committee and The Students' Union at UWE Council meetings where you can make real changes at UWE.
• It will appear on your Higher Education Achievement Report.

NOTE: The following societies need to elect Equipment and Safety Officers:

Aero, Airsoft, Bar School, Circus & Hoola Hoop, Darts, DJ, Drama, Film, Good Food, Hub Radio, Live Music, Paintball, Poker, Pole Fitness, Quidditch, SAGUWE, Space Exploration and Videogaming

The Students’ Union offers a wide range of training to ensure you will be adequately prepared to support and develop both and your club / society through the year.
