Welcome to UWE Volleyball Club! We are a diverse, friendly, growing sports club consisting of four competitive teams, a development squad and a social team!
We were awarded Best Sports Club in 2023 and 2019 and nominated in 2020 and 2021, we are also one of UWE's most diverse clubs! So if you are thinking about joining a club but aren't sure which one, why not join the best one?
We have 4 competitive BUCS teams as well as a development squad and a social team so there is an option for everyone whether you want to play competitively or just socially.

Every year we travel to Amsterdam in November for a 2 day tournament. Loads of us arrive early on the first day to explore the city before heading to the welcome party in the evening. During the weekend we take part in a themed tournament against other clubs.

Deep Dish Tour is THE beach volleyball event of the year! We head to Praia da Rocha in Portugal for a whole week of volleyball, socials and of course, tanning! The only thing you'll need to stress about is whether you brought enough suncream. Each day offers training sessions, tournaments and socials all of which are completely optional. We offer a variety of drinking and non-drinking socials, and everyone is welcome!
In the past we have done BBQs, house parties, club nights, movie nights, pub nights at our beloved Cider Press 🫶🏼 along with so much more and have so many incredible socials planned for you over the next year. Whether you prefer a chilled night with friends or a full blown night out, we've got you!
The majority of our socials are also themed so expect to be dressing up as pirates, animals, criminals and in bright neon colours!
