Societies Conference

SOCIETIES CONFERENCE

Society's conference is a gathering where society's committee members come together to discuss, share ideas, and collaborate on topics relevant to the common interests or goals of every student. It serves as a platform for fostering communication, building connections, and advancing the collective knowledge and initiatives of all societies.

This conference is held 3 times in an academic year and it is compulsory for  at least 2 committee members from every society to attend the conference.  

SOCIETIES CONFERENCE AIMS

• To ensure that there is effective communication links with the student body.
• All UWE activities are student led by representatives from all ratified societies.
• To promote and contribute towards the furtherance of communications and all societies.
• Seek to provide opportunities for students of all abilities to participate and develop new skills; specifically in the areas of student led volunteering and fundraising.

MEMBERSHIP OF THE COMMITTEE

• The Vice President Societies and Communications (who shall be Chair).
• The President of each affiliated society (or their nominee).
• The members of Societies and Communications Executive.
