Better Support Services I’ll work on improving access to the help international students need, whether it's academic, mental health, or visa-related support. By working with student services and the international office, we can create more tailored resources that address these unique challenges. More Cultural and Social Events We need to build stronger connections between students from all backgrounds. I’ll organize cultural exchange events and socials to make sure international students feel more connected and part of the wider university community. Clearer Communication and Feedback I want to create open channels for international students to share their feedback and concerns. Regular town hall meetings and online surveys will help us understand what’s working and what isn’t, so I can advocate for real change. Better Career Development Opportunities International students often face unique challenges when it comes to internships and job searches. I’ll work with career services to create more targeted career development resources, like workshops and networking events specifically designed for us. Easier Access to Housing and Financial Support Finding affordable housing and accessing financial aid can be tough. I’ll collaborate with housing services and financial aid to make sure there are clear guides and resources to help international students navigate these challenges more easily.
