Wed 20 October 2021 12:00-15:00
What to expect: In this session we will be hearing about biodiversity and conservation projects across UWE which you can get involved in, such as the UWE Beeline Champions. Our grounds manager Richie Fluester will start the short talk shortly after 12 and will be there to take questions until 13.00. As well as this, we'll be doing a variety of activities including weeding, planting and pruning. Everyone is welcome whether it's your first time gardening or you're harvesting your own food.
Wear sensible shoes you don't mind getting dampened by the grass.
All students and staff welcome - and you don't have to come to the whole session. Note that there are individual/team plots available as well as the group ones - just ask Richie on the day or email richie.fluester@uwe.ac.uk.
How to find the Community Garden: we will be meeting outside The Students' Union Shop in Union 1 at 12:00 to walk down to the garden together. If you'd prefer to find it yourself then you can just meet us there.
