WHAT TO EXPECT:
Repair of small electrical items and appliances, clothes, jewellery, and more. Whatever can be glued, soldered, or stitched, though unfortunately we don’t have the capacity to fix mobile phones.
Just drop in on the day with your broken item, and our skilled student-, staff-, and community volunteers will try and fix it for you. The volunteers are supported by of our knowledgeable technicians, making sure all repairs are safe and done to a good standard. It's all about skill sharing, so do ask lots of questions and maybe even consider getting involved!
We are always looking for volunteers to join our team of repairers! No matter if your strength is in tech or textile, there are plenty of ways to get involved! Don't have any repair skill yet, but keen to learn? Still get in touch! Repair cafes are all about skill sharing, so do come along for the opportunity to learn.
