Get Crafty: Tie Dye Time: noon - 2pm; Glenside Playing Field (opposite the clock tower); Try your hand at t-shirt tie dying! Practice on our second-hand tees or bring your own items to give them a new lease of life.

Fri 13th September

Sip and Paint: noon - 3pm; Glenside Students' Union; Join us to make a mocktail and paint a canvas in The Students' Union! UWE Student life will be joining us too!

Pizza Making at Bower: noon - 1:30pm; A block shared space -Bower Ashton Campus, Kennel Lodge Road Bristol BS3 2JT.; We have UWE's own Pizza expert Del Vecchios Pizza and his oven coming to Bower so you can try out the relaxing art of pizza making, we'll have delicious toppings to choose from (including Vegan)

Nature walk and Picnic at Bower: noon - 2:30pm; Students' Union Cafe and Bar-Bower Ashton Campus, Kennel Lodge Road Bristol BS3 2JT.; Come and join the Green Team to discover the hidden corners of the grounds at Bower, followed by a walk around the beautiful Ashton Court and a picnic.

Quote on a Tote: noon - 2pm; Glenside Students' Union; Create your own design and then iron it onto a tote bag!

Fri 20th September

Welcome Social- Cake Decorating: noon - 2pm; Glenside Students' Union; Fancy a sweet treat at lunch? Come and decorate a cupcake and chat to fellow students!

Print and Art sale at Bower: 11am - 2:30pm; A block shared space -Bower Ashton Campus, Kennel Lodge Road Bristol BS3 2JT.; Come and buy some art to decorate your room or accommodation.

Freshers' Fair 2024: 11am - 4pm; The Students' Union, Frenchay Campus; Join us on Frenchay Campus for two amazing days of Freshers' Fair fun, showcasing stalls from sports clubs and societies, The Students’ Union, UWE Bristol and local and national brands.

Introduction to Community Corner - tie dye at Bower: noon - 2pm; A block shared space -Bower Ashton Campus, Kennel Lodge Road Bristol BS3 2JT.; Come to Community Corner - find out what is on offer, from swap shops to free teas and coffees and you can pick an item of clothing out of swap shop, a tote bag or something of your own to tie dye.

Thu 26th September

Freshers' Fair 2024: 11am - 4pm; The Students' Union, Frenchay Campus; Join us on Frenchay Campus for two amazing days of Freshers' Fair fun, showcasing stalls from sports clubs and societies, The Students’ Union, UWE Bristol and local and national brands.

Pottery Painting at Bower: noon - 2pm; A block shared space -Bower Ashton Campus, Kennel Lodge Road Bristol BS3 2JT.; Come and paint some pottery, once painted we will be sending them to Trylla Ceramics studio to fire in their kiln, we will collect once fired so you must be available to collect your finished piece 2 weeks later from the SU info desk at Bower.

Fri 27th September

Get Crafty: Pins & Patches: 5pm - 7pm; Upper Engagement Space, Union 1, Frenchay Campus; Upcycle your clothes the easy way! Practice on our second-hand tees and tote bags or bring your own items to give them a new lease of life.

Mon 30th September

Creatopia Workshop - Fun with felt at Bower: noon - 2pm; A block shared space -Bower Ashton Campus, Kennel Lodge Road Bristol BS3 2JT.; Drop in and learn the process of needle-felting. With a large variety of colours and templates to choose from, you can create a mini felty figure to take away … animals, love hearts and mushrooms are popular projects for this session.

Get Crafty: Sip n' Paint: 5pm - 7pm; Upper Engagement Space, Union 1, Frenchay Campus; Come and get arty with us! Relax and unwind with a non-alcoholic drink in one hand and a paintbrush in the other.
