Campaigns The Students’ Union is here to represent UWE Bristol students both at a university level and within the wider community. We support and encourage students to get involved with the causes that matter to them, by facilitating campaigns and providing advice, resources and access to funding. Campaigning is all about mobilising and working collaboratively in order to achieve tangible change. The Students’ Union campaigns below are student-led and open to all UWE Bristol students.
Committees
Elections Every year, The Students’ Union holds student elections determining your next student leaders for the following academic year. The Students’ Union operates a democratic system which means that student leaders are elected by their peers.
Fundraising The Students’ Union provides support for your sports club and society charitable fundraising events and activities.
Hire a bike Getting around Bristol by bike is cheaper, quicker and easier, whatever type of student you are. Cycling rates have doubled in the last decade, let’s double that again!
Liberation Campaigns
National Union of Students (NUS) Conferences At National Conference, students and officers from across Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and England come together to focus on the next steps of the NUS New Vision for Education campaign, alongside building the #DecoloniseEducation campaign.
Student Ideas
The Green Team The Green Team is a friendly and relaxed group of students interested in sustainability. It is flexible, and you can get involved as much or as little as you want.
