The Welfare Committee is an opportunity for students who are passionate about health and wellbeing to get involved in the planning,delivery and evaluationof welfare iniatives and services and help to improve the student experience. 

What does the committee do?

  • Support the planning and delivery of events and initiatives
  • Provide feedback and insight into mental health and wellbeing amongst the UWE student community and offer suggestions for areas of improvement
  • Work with the VP Community and Welfare to ensure they are meeting their manifesto points and responding to issues being faced by students.
  • Promote positive wellbeing and signpost fellow students to relevant support services
