Jobshop offers you direct contact with the 30,000+ students studying at UWE. Our students are able to access the adverts online.
Jobshop can therefore offer employers fast access to well-educated, eager and adaptable staff, we also offer support to our students with their CVs and applications making them high quality candidates.
The aim of the The Students' Union at UWE’s Jobshop is to assist employers with advertising part-time, casual and temporary vacancies to make contact with appropriate students who are looking for work.
Here at the JobShop we will not advertise opportunities which exceed working hours in excess of 20 hours per week in term time due to our students commitments to their studies and our commitment to our students’ wellbeing.
As a charitable organisation the money that you pay goes back into our student offering and allows us to provide an exceptional student experience.
The Jobshop will not enter into contracts with students or employers. Contracts of employment are to be agreed directly between employer and student and the Jobshop will only become involved in this when the employer is The Students' Union at UWE.
As such, the role of the Jobshop might be best understood as being more aligned to a job centre rather than a commercial employment agency.
Please read our full T&Cs below for all information about advertising with us, including working hours, pay and rules and regulations of using our services!
