Duties

The Governors wish to appoint some lovely people to take on the role of Teaching Assistant, to support the Class Teachers in providing the highest quality of education and in ensuring the safety and welfare of the pupils. We are initially looking for someone that could work every Wednesday in Year 6 until May half term to help with SATS revision. We are also looking for individuals that could work for us on an ad hoc basis when we need cover or additional support

Skills and Experience

We are looking for people who, ideally have-

 • Experience of working with children across the primary age range.

• Experience of working with pupils with specific individual needs.

• Have high expectations of children and a natural ability to build relationships with them

• Work well with parents and other professionals

• Are willing to go that extra mile to ensure all pupils succeed

• Are genuinely able to work as part of a team

• Are enthusiastic about personal development

Hours

Full day 6.5 hrs but can offer half days as well

£12.26

Location

Brentry Primary School - We are 4.7 miles from the main UWE campus which equates to 20 minutes in a car or a 27 minute cycle ride.
