We are looking for a Commercial Services Supervisor to join our trading operation here at The Students' Union at UWE, supervising the day-to-day operation and acting as Duty Manager as and when required.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Services Director, duties and responsibilities will include recruitment, training, and management of staff, serving customers, placing orders, assisting in the review and implementation of service and quality standards, and helping to ensure we deliver excellent customer service across all of our outlets.

Our outlets include retail shops, a bakery, bars and kitchens and a barista service across the 3 UWE Bristol campus sites (Frenchay, Bower Ashton and Glenside Campus).

This position will be required to be cross trained across all of our commercial areas and will work across all three campus locations as required (Frenchay, Glenside and Bower).

Rate of Pay: £26,979

Grade: 4.1

Hours per Week: 37 hours per week 

*The position will work irregular hours involving early mornings, late night, evening and weekend working.

Holiday Benefits: 27 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Closure Days (Pro rata)
