From Tuesday 30 November, new COVID rules in England are being reinforced, to respond to new concerns over the Omicron variant.
Face coverings will once again be compulsory in shops and public transport in England.
What does this mean for a UWE Bristol Student?
As always, for our larger events, you will need your COVID passport or a negative lateral flow test taken within 48 hours before the event.
Inside The Students’ Union buildings, we strongly encourage wearing a mask to help keep yourself, and our staff members safe.
In our shops, it will be mandatory to wear a face covering unless you are exempt.
You can read more on the changes and how they may affect you here.
We understand that this may be a stressful time and that you may have questions, please click here to view UWE Bristol’s guidance for students, which is regularly updated. For information on all other wellbeing services available to you click here.
We are continuing to follow the advice of the Government and Public Health England as this situation progresses.
