In light of the current Covid19 pandemic, The Students’ Union at UWE has taken the difficult decision to furlough a number of our permanent staff. We will continue to pay those staff members affected 100% of their pay and will work to support them during this time as they continue to be a part of The Students’ Union team.

We will continue to run key services including the Advice Centre, our Student Representation and Presidents Team and the U Block Shop, as well as keeping a service provision for each department, to ensure that we are supporting the UWE Bristol student community. This decision was not taken lightly but protects the long term interests of our members, staff and the organisation.
