The Student Experience Awards at The Students’ Union recognise and celebrate everything that makes life at UWE Bristol great.
This year's Student Experience Awards honour all aspects of life at UWE, from academics to community involvement. We recognised students and staff who have gone above and beyond in academics, community involvement, well-being, and more. Every nominee deserves a round of applause for their hard work, passion, and dedication to creating a fantastic student experience at UWE Bristol.
The event was organised by our VP Community and Welfare, Fayaz Kareem, alongside VP Education, Sabiha Khan. The awards took place in M Shed on Thursday 30 May, where many students and staff members attended to celebrate their achievements all together.
Fayaz expressed his thoughts on the event, saying, "Hosting the Student Experience Awards was a true delight. It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students and staff at UWE over the past year."
We were honoured to have special guests in attendance, including Vice-Chancellor Sir Steve West, who presented the Vice-Chancellor’s Award and delivered an inspiring speech.
The winners were selected based on nominations, with their performances and achievements throughout the year serving as the criteria for recognition.
