The National Student Survey (NSS) results have been published, and we are delighted to confirm that UWE Bristol has been ranked 11th out of all UK universities for overall student satisfaction and 7th out of all universities in England.
The NSS is carried out by the Office for Students and gathers students’ opinions on the quality of their university experience. In 2019, 56.55% of students agreed that The Students’ Union at UWE represented their academic interests, which is an increase of 0.5% from 2018. This is 1% above the benchmark, which means we are above average for our sector, which is a great achievement.
UWE Bristol’s score has declined by 0.6% (to 88%) compared to 2018, however, the University has maintained a position ahead of the sector average, which stands at 84%, and has been rated as ‘significantly better than the benchmark’.
Both The Students’ Union at UWE and UWE Bristol have worked hard to maintain a position above the sector average, which we are delighted with and will continue to work on.
