We asked UWE Bristol students their favourite coffee shops in Bristol, here are their answers...
New to Bristol? Looking for your caffeine fix? Lucky for you, we’ve compiled a list of some of the top Bristol coffee shops, as recommended by fellow UWE students! While, of course, The Students’ Union cafes are our first choice (we’re not biased, promise) keep reading to find some more must-visit spots across the city.
If you consider yourself a bit of a coffee connoisseur, or just like a really, really good coffee, pay Full Court Press a visit. They’re constantly changing their speciality coffees on offer, often featuring coffees of rare varieties and origins.
They also roast their own coffee right here in Bristol, so you can grab a bag and enjoy their goods from the comfort your own home.

FED have three locations across Bristol, one on Gloucester Road, one in Cotham, and one in Fishponds which is, very conveniently, just a 15-20 minute walk from Glenside campus!
Not only do they serve great coffee, they’ll regularly have a counter stacked full of sweet treats, pastries, salads and more, so you can pop along for breakfast or lunch as well as a delicious coffee.

Located in Cabot Circus, Mila is the perfect pit-stop while shopping. The team at Mila put a big focus on sustainability, with Huskee cups on offer and making sure they have a closed-loop system for their old cups to prevent any ending up in a landfill.
They’ve also recently opened a second location in Sparks where, just like at Union 2, you can borrow a Refill Return Cup for free for your takeaway coffee and return it when you’re done. Find out more about borrowing a Refill Return Cup here

Society Café have two locations in central Bristol, one on Baldwin Street and one just down the road at Narrow Quay. Their Narrow Quay location is ideal for sunny days, where you can sit outside at the harbourside and watch the world go by.
They specialise in featuring coffee from smaller roasters, such as Origin from Cornwall and Round Hill from Bath. If coffee’s not your thing, they also have a wide range of teas and some delicious hot chocolates for you to try.

Spicer + Cole describe their coffee as ‘downright delicious and ethically sourced’, and that sounds pretty good to us! Their house coffee is from Extract, a roaster based in St Werberghs, Bristol. As well as this they offer guest coffees from roasters ranging from super local, to further afield.
They have four locations around Bristol, with our personal favourite at the RWA Gallery, what beats an afternoon spend sipping coffee and looking at art?!
