Help The Students' Union gather important information about your journey to and from Bower Ashton Campus.
Whether it's walking routes, bike paths, or buses, we want to hear your feedback about transport to Bower Ashton Campus!
So tell us what your journey is like! How long does it take? Where are you travelling from? Do you feel safe walking off campus? Do you take the bus? Walk? Cycle? Electric Scooter? Any information would be hugely
The Students’ Union is consulting students and staff at Bower Campus to better understand your feedback and concerns to ensure we can lobby for the right services to meet your needs.
What has The Student’s Union previously done on the issue of the bus service to Bower?
When the 71 bus service did not come back post COVID, we ran a survey for students to understand their needs and actively campaigned to the return of this service.
We knew that the bus route is needed for many reasons:
We called on First Bus to bring back this essential element to student life at UWE Bristol.
Your Students’ Union President met with First Bus Chief Executive on numerous occasions with Professor Steve West, the Vice Chancellor of UWE Bristol. First Bus will bring back the bus service, if UWE pays the £300,000- £500,000 bill. UWE Bristol and First Bus has not been able to move past this stalemate.
We have directed students to complain directly to First Bus through https://www.firstbus.co.uk/help-support/complaints-feedback/customer-complaints-charter so the level of complaints can be addressed and understood.
