Today the government has opened the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) portal, and we have been working within the current HMRC guidelines to ensure that we are supporting staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. By doing this, we can confirm that we have taken the decision to pay all student staff who are on Pay As You Earn 80% of their salary.

This means that we are able to support 248 students totalling in excess of £30,000, despite there still being some uncertainty around the current guidelines. We would like to thank our student staff for working with us while we have navigated this ever-changing process.
