Are you ready to sharpen your mind and have fun? Whether you're a seasoned player or completely new to chess, the UWE Chess Society has something for everyone! We host weekly casual games where you can enjoy puzzles, friendly matches, and great conversations.

For those who want to dive deeper, we offer chess talks, game reviews and analysis, and opportunities to learn new openings together. Love competition? You’ll also have the chance to compete in official university chess events, with the potential to represent the UWE Chess team.

Plus, we’ll organise regular social events where you can meet other chess enthusiasts off the board! Come join us for fun, strategy, and community.
