The Bristol UWE Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) is a registered public welfare organization within the UWE Student Union, dedicated to serving the Chinese student and academic community in the Bristol area. Our mission is to support and protect the educational and living needs of our members, offering assistance to overcome challenges faced while studying abroad.
Our services encompass a comprehensive suite of resources, from pre-study preparation to academics in the UK, and aspects of daily life including food, accommodation, transportation, and cultural activities. The Association is structured into six functional departments: the Community Affairs, External Relations, Technology, Academic, Social Media, and Event Planning departments. Together, they strive to enrich the extracurricular life of students, resolve living difficulties, provide platforms for communication, and enhance academic and cultural exchanges between China and the UK, thereby strengthening the cohesion among Chinese students.
In addition to our core services, we also host a variety of engaging events such as the CSSA Spring Festival Gala, showcasing a diverse array of performances that bring the festive spirit of reunion to students far from home. With these activities, we aim to create a sense of community and a home away from home for our fellow countrymen and women.
