    Welcome to UWE Sudanese Society!

           

    Who we are:

    We are a diverse group of students who share a passion for the Sudanese culture and our goal is to create a space where diversity is embraced, cultures are shared and friendships are forged. Our society is open to all, whether you're Sudanese or simply want to explore a different culture, you are more than welcome to join us. As a member of our society, you will discover a welcoming community that celebrates unity and the rich heritage of Sudan.

    • Cultural Events: Get ready to immerse yourself in the world of the Sudanese culture. From exciting cultural nights to festivals and exhibitions featuring Sudanese music, dance, art, fashion, and food. 
    • Educational Initiatives: Expand your knowledge about Sudan through film screenings, workshops and discussions on Sudanese history, politics, art and more!.
    • Social Gatherings: Join us for casual social gatherings, game nights, movie nights, and trips. It's a chance to meet new people, experience Sudanese customs, and have a great time.
    • Cultural Exchange: Connect with other cultural societies and share experiences to promote cross-cultural understanding.
    • Sudanese Cuisine: Discover the flavours of Sudan through cooking classes, food fairs and cooking competitions.
