My main focus is feeling loved, being present in the moment and relaxed in my practises. These are key values to my yoga practise and I hope to achieve guiding you to this. I truly believe yoga is a time for you to be selfish and give your body and soul whatever you need, whether that be feeling grounded or alive! This is the time out of your week to focus on you and feel good.
Yoga is great for students not just to keep us active and fit, but for mental health too. Yoga helps to connect yourself to yourself, feel grounded and comfortable in your own skin and have fun in the process.
My training in yoga is Hatha practise, this is a breat-based practise and means asana and flow sequences (any movement) will start with breath and movement follows. We do this because it calms the body down, unites the breath and body togetherness and allows us to anchor in the present moment. I will also include pranayama in my practises from time to time, and wrap the sessions up with a beautiful meditation and/or body scan.
Classes will be taught by Elita and later Hayden, our Vice President.
Memberships are only £25 for the year, which is equivalent to the price of two yoga classes in a studio in bristol!
If you would like to join us halfway through the year, this is more than fine for you, all you need to do is contact us and we’ll bring you in for a trial session, talk to you afterwards see how you get on and then you are able to buy a membership and come to regular classes!
