A student panel to overlook spending at the university and ensure decisions are made which are good value for money.

Extra Information: Currently there is much change happening around the university as new buildings appear and rebrands occur. With this in mind the price of education is to increase in years to come and therefore universities will get more money. With this in mind I believe that a student led panel should scrutinise fiscal spending at the university making sure that student education is invested in and help the university in the years to come and not spend money on things which are not, such as benches in the new Wallscourt phase or the inevitable fact that a new carpark will have to be built in future whist others are upgraded for demand which could have been avoided if there was a comprehensive plan and spending was monitored.
