Extra Information: Clothes swaps (sometimes called swishes) are becoming increasingly popular. Simply put, they are events where people can drop off clothes which they no longer want or wear, and then can pick up clothes which are new to them from the clothes others have donated. These events can be a lot of fun, and you can find clothes there which you may not be able to find anywhere else. Textiles make up around 3% of the average household bin in the UK, so clothing swaps can be a great way to reduce this waste, as well as being a fun way to shop for new clothes and socialise. More can be found here: https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.getswishing.com%2F&data=02%7C01%7Csuideas%40uwe.ac.uk%7C1486f3aa74ad47a12daa08d86c773bed%7C07ef1208413c4b5e9cdd64ef305754f0%7C0%7C0%7C637378606648147449&sdata=kfaOWVDb5XNS7CUOeD2LcqIqnwbxnrvR2OMBWL1NHQc%3D&reserved=0, though the way which The Student's Union actually conduct these is up to them, depending on how they feel it would be best to do this. This will almost definitely have to wait until after the current pandemic, but I believe that clothing swaps could be a popular and sustainable event.
