THE STUDENT REP PARTNERSHIP

Student Reps are run in partnership between UWE and The Students' Union. The Students' Union deliver Student Reps training, development and on-going support for the Reps. UWE own and facilitate the University governance structures, in which Reps feed into.

 

Key contacts – The Students’ Union

The Students' Union has full-time members of staff based at Frenchay Campus who deal with student representation. A staff member from Frenchay also spends one day a week at the Glenside and City Campuses during term time.

These staff members are responsible for facilitating The Students’ Union activities regarding Student Reps.

• Key contact for Student Reps and Staff members involved in student representation
• Provide training sessions and development opportunities for Reps
• Supports Lead School Reps and School Reps 
• Work with VP Education to organise Student Rep Conference 3 x a year
• Support thw VP Education to connect prgoramme level Student Reps with their Lead School Reps
