This award is for a Lead School Rep who has excelled in their role. A student who has established a clear vision and has inspired others to support them in delivering that vision whilst providing clear information, knowledge and communication.
The winner of this award will be a good leader, be able to coordinate and balance the conflicting interests of all members and stakeholders and will step up in times of crisis.
For this award, we will be choosing from the 25 Lead School Reps.
This award is for a Student Rep who is dedicated to representing their fellow students and who goes above and beyond to do so. They will be highly committed to their role, engage with relevant meetings and maintain contact with their peers, academic staff and The Students’ Union. An outstanding Student Rep won’t just raise issues; they will be committed to finding innovating and sustainable solutions.
The winner of this award will have made significant contributions to implementing positive or meaningful change at programme, school or college level.
This award is open to Undergraduate and Postgraduate Student Reps. We will award one per college.

This award is for a student who has made an outstanding contribution to their student community, either as part of a recognised group or through their own individual efforts. Their positive contribution could have been over the academic year, or as a one-off event or activity. Nominees could include students of a group, student staff, community assistants and student trustees as well as students who are not connected to The Students’ Union.
The winner of this award will have represented and championed the values and behaviours of The Students’ Union in all they do.

This award is for a student who has succeeded in their academic studies, despite their personal challenges. They are a student who has overcome adversities and yet shown a commitment and dedication to achieving on their programme.
Nominees could include an international student, a mature student, a student seeking support from UWE Cares, as well as any other student The Vice Chancellor feels is an example of what success through hard work and determination can look like.
The winner of this award will be a true inspiration to others and a clear example that anything is possible.
Championing inclusivity and equal opportunities for all. They demonstrate commitment to equality, diversity and inclusivity by raising awareness and bringing students together. This student could also be committed to the wellbeing of other students, someone who goes above and beyond to look out for the wellbeing of others within the student community.
This award is for a student who has made a significant positive environmental impact within their community. A student who has established a clear vision and has inspired others to support them in delivering that vision. Their contributions could have been over the academic year, or as a one-off event or activity. Their efforts will have raised the profile of sustainability amongst their peers.
The winner of this award will have been working towards promoting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and has been committed to developing an awareness of this with their peers.
The winner of this award will have delivered a campaign that is well organised, creative, fun and engaging and which has left a positive impact on UWE Bristol students and staff..
This award celebrates the work of a team of UWE students and/or staff who have contributed on a large scale to improving the student experience
This award is for lecturers who consistently produce outstanding teaching and learning experiences. They will fully embrace the latest technology and teaching methods to make their lectures immersive and interesting. They will be inventive and original in their style of teaching to enhance learning and teaching.
The winner of this award will have used their skill, flair and imagination to become a truly inspirational teacher.
We will award one per college.

This award is to celebrate all those staff members who you don’t see in the classroom but still work to improve your student experience. Nominees could include security, lab technicians, administrative staff and librarians – anyone who has gone above and beyond to support a student during their time at UWE Bristol.
The winner of this award will be constantly having a positive impact on the student experience.
This award is to reward staff who have championed the student voice across the whole university, not just within their own area or department. They have been engaging a variety of students through their work, and are proactive, challenging and constantly ensuring the student voice is top of the agenda.
Nominees can include academic and non-academic staff.
The winner of this award will be someone who works tirelessly to push the student voice agenda to the top.
This award is for a staff member who embraces education for sustainable development. This person will understand how students are exposed to the concepts of sustainable development across their programme of study and will encourage awareness of thinking from other disciplines. They will ensure that students are given opportunities to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes which support sustainable development.
The winner of this award will be a member of staff who will champion sustainability in their discipline by implementing it into their learning and teaching frameworks.
