In 2015, the United Nations set out the Sustainable Development Goals. They address global challenges we collectively face, encompassing climate change, inequalities, poverty, inequality, peace and justice. The goals are interconnected and are equally relevant to both developed and developing countries. The SDGs act as a blueprint for The Students' Union, as we move together to create a better world for all.
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. They recognise that ending povert must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality and tackle the climate emergency and ecologicial crisis.
